Sean made this manifold at Aspec, ask him on length. We run one HKS 60mm wastegate, and all the manifolds are stock portmatched only. We hope the motor will last a summer
street driving no drag racing, but 3rd gear wont be as lucky.

I think ernie will surpass our numbers pretty easily. It doesnt take much psi increase to make a lot more HP.

Ralph,
BAD ***, bro! Congrats....I know what it takes to get to that point and its not easy. Huge accomplishment. Im considering your LIM as well. Again, huge thumbs up on your part. Can't wait till spring to see what this power does on the track!
Ernie

PS.
One other thing I noticed. Since your on a mustang dyno, they usually read quite a bit lower than a dynojet dyno depending on how you have it setup. So you could be putting down closer to 700rwhp!

Congrats to GroundZero! Those are incredible numbers. Do you have any pictures of the engine bay that you could post? I'm also sending you a PM.

Does anybody know what we can do to the transmissions to hold up at this power level?
Cryo? Heavier gears?

Then tell us what makes it difficult? I'll tell you right now, if I had the funds, I would have had the most powerfull rotary EVER built! I would take a trip down to NZ, Aus, Japan, & Puerto Rico! Get all the necessary ingrediants and TADA! <-- I would know how to accomplish this because I google...lol

If it were SO easy to do, there would be more than just a handfull of people that made more than 600rwhp. And it doesn't cost that much. Its knowing how to do it, R&D, and trial and error.

Exactly! The only reason it gets easier to do is because someone has already done the actual work before you. Throwing money at a problem doesn't necessarily solve the problem

Then why do you see so many 350 hp single turbo RX7's blowing up?

You're right, it's easy.

What primaries are you guys running and are they in the stock position? I have a Microtech ltx12s and was just going to run (4)1600's but hell might as well make use of the other bank of injectors. Does running the 850cc Primaries make it easier to tune is basically what I'm getting after? Thank you in advance. Oh yeah on the transmission I have really been looking at the G-Force T5 for under $2000 for a transmission that can "Generally, it can be assumed that with the available upgraded mainshaft, the G-Force T-5 kit will handle roughly 600 hp or 500 ft-lb. or torque in a 3300 lb. vehicle running drag radials at the track with a moderate clutch upgrade. Obviously this is just a rough estimate regarding the power and torque handling capability, but it should give some idea as to what the G-Force T-5 kit will handle in your particular application." Good luck and continued success.

I've spoken to a couple of guys in austrailia and other well known rotary heads and the stock gear box in the FD's should be able to hold together on to that kinda power(as long as the gear box hasn't been abused)It's serious torque and misalignment, also bad shifting that distroys a box. We had the same issues with the mustangs a couple years back too. People were saying that the stock t5's couldn't handle high power and big launches, that was until they saw one run 9's with a stock gear box.
Other's might not agree but thats what this forum is for, knowledge.

Damm you guys are THICK! LISTEN: If I had the Best of the BEST, why wouldn't it be easy? I wasn't saying that I would do it myself, I said IF I HAD THE FUNDs!!! I would do some research and hire the Best of the BEST in the WORLD! I would then have the best Builder & TUNER that would build and tune my engine.

NOW TELL ME WHATS SO HARD? I'm beginning to think that some of you guys just like to argue!

Why hate on Ground Zero 88FC3S? Can't you just give them what they deserve, which is a congratulations. Instead you want to slap them in the face. Grow up.
