going to try he 351 vgt holset turbo
I have 2 of these I just can't pass up trying one out. Got turbo bolted up just need to finish up oil lines. Going to control the vgt with extra actuator from another turbo. It is a 5psi actuator so it should spool this sucker up real nice. My goal is to get 350-375 whp out of this thing with good crisp spool time. I have a dodge truck with the same turbo on it and it work really good on it. Don't mind the messy engine bay started stripping paint to get it all gangstered up.

Way to be innovating! However your problem is going to be the heat, dont think these turbos were designed to hold up to the rotarys high egts. But might prove em wrong so keep us informed!

I was about to start preparation for this very project. Best of luck to you. Are you going to adjust the aperture with a wastegate actuator or manipulating the stock electronics?

They now sell stand alone controller for these turbo. The only problem is I have no room to leave the electronic actuator in place so I will use a normal one. The exhaust housing are huge on this thing. I not sure if heat will be that much of a issue. I have one on my truck I have had egt up to 1600f before with no problems. I know the rotary can do this easy and more frequent then the old diesel can.
