Going bigger turbocharger

In my garage is a T04B that will go in once the future motor gets it break-in period. Im just curious to what things need to be customize. I now know that DP has to be longer than my old RB DP. Does the OIL PIPE also need to be longer??..what else???Thanx in advance!

What manifold are you using? The turbo isn't water cooled, is it? You'll have to test fit the turbo to see what you'll need, but I'm guessing you'll need to re-do your oil lines.

I went to a shop that specializes in making all kinds of hoses. I brought them the turbo and all of the stock lines; and they gave me all of the adapters and fittings I needed. Then I just put it all together. Another option would be to use -AN fittings.

I will call Turbonetics and see if they have custom lines for my set-up. What kind of turbo do you have?..and are you using HKS manifold also?..

Turbonetics sells alot of the stuff you'll need. I have a Greddy T-78. Right now I'm using the HKS manifold because it was easier to get the car rooling, but I'm going to be making a divided manifold very soon.

IS the T-78 divided?...if not how does the turbo perform with an undivided manifold?..

The T-78 is divided. I get my full boost by about 4500 RPM. With a well-designed divided manifold I should get a little less lag.
