i wanna get the garrett gt35/40 and i was wondering which exhaust housing style i should get?

Standard_GT_4bolt

T3T4_DropIn_5bolt

T04_Tang82AR

I suppose it depends on what manifold you want to use.

Well a 'true' GT35R (the ball bearing one) has a T3 footprint...

...you can also get a non-BB T4/GT35.
