is where torque and HP is equal. above that, HP will be higher and lower than that will be lower than torque. look at any dyno sheet

i have a dyno sheet where they don't cross at 5250. i've always thought it was odd because every other one i've seen does

the one where it does not cross is not accurate. For any dyno sheet to be considered accurate torque and horsepower must intersect just above the 5000rpm mark.
