Engine Airflow Calculator for purposes of Turbo Selection based on Fuelflow and AFR
I would like some constructive criticism on this engine airflow rate calulator I made for choosing the best compressor map. It will give the corrected airflow rate in lbs/min based only upon:
1) Fuel flow
2) AFR
3) Ambient temperature
It opens in Excel.

Will this predict the current airflow rate of the engine within the uncertainty of your injectors and your air/fuel meter? If so, this seems like a better bet than guessing your VE like an many calculators I have seen. Are there any other variables I'm missing?

nice job.
it seems to work right for me and tends to confirm a formula i have used re airflow and turbo sizing.
as far as constructive criticism...
since the power fc/datalogit reports boost and AFR differently than your table which uses psi and the AFR ratio... might you build in a formula so you could cut and directly paste the relevant data?

Send a Power FC datalog to rotor_rage@yahoo.com for me to look at. Maybe I will make one of the Datalog worksheets Power FC specific.
