Quality? Are you kidding me! That kit has a thousand dollar turbo and a bunch of scrap metal bolted to it. I have been watching this guy for at least three years now. He use to use chinese turbos with the rest of his POS "style" parts, but they were failing within the first month and he was getting alot of complaints. I talked to him over the phone once and he promised me if i used his kit i could use the stock ecu and a manual boost controller up to 15psi with no problems. Some of you Texas boys should pay this guy a visit. He has been ripping FD owners off for too long.

With this kit it depends on what you are willing to settle for. I actually have this kit and I couldn’t be happier with it. Yes it does have knock off part but I have been switching them out with Greddy parts like the BOV. I took the waste-gate, down pipe and manifold to MINES Japan and had them tested the integrity of the parts. They had nothing negative to say about them beside “Who make them?” If you don’t have the budget to buy the name brand kits like HKS or Greddy. I say go for it and when you see a deal on the name brand parts, then pick them up, like I have. The Turbonetics turbo is authentic and is backed by their warranty. But remember to do your homework on tuning your RX-7 because this is a piece together kit and has not been fully tested or modified to give a RX-7 the best performance. Trust, Japan “Greddy” will actually test there kits on there cars and has data sheets to support there findings. Also, this kit is not a bargain for your money and you do get what you pay for. There is better quality, better represented and trusted kits out there. Good luck

For that amount of money , you could buy a t04r or t04s turbo kit from the rx7store with much better parts.

Or take the route that i did
Pt67 dual ball bearing precision turbo used (a few passes ) $750 dollars. (Borg warners cost 1,000 dollars new and are great)
Used tial 40mm wastegate $150
custom stainless steel downpipe and manifold with racing beat flanges (400 dollars)
get it tune and you are good to go. I rather have good used parts than new chinese parts

Stellar history? That guy is a shady scammer who used to sell the kit with garbage glued-together turbos and ripped many people off. Stay far far away.

Met this seller years back. Seemed like a decent guy, then saw all the crappy parts he sold that failed on people. I would stay away. HKS style wastegate? If you buy crappy parts, you deserve to blow up in my opinion.

a friend of mine bought a hks style 60mm wastegate. A pure chinese piece of ****. For some reason it lock and stay open, putting in over 40psi. This naturally cause the engine to blow. Don't be cheap on crucial parts like wastegate or turbos. In the long run, it will cost you more.
