Hey Vosko...I have the same boost controller and on a cold night the boost will spike. I have my controller set at 12.5lbs. When it spikes I kind of get the sensation of fuel cut but not quite as harsh when the boost controller cuts in. Is this what was happening here to you? If so did you find a solution?
thanks

Sorry about that I didn't read the whole post...it looks like the answer is in the gain setting. I have my controller on manual the boost response is much quicker on manual mode per a Blitz rep. I just think I have my gain set to respond to quickly because when it gets cold it's easier for the boost to overshoot the target. We should have portion of the forum for fuel and boost controllers.

phinsn98: What ECU do you use? If it is the PFC, make sure you have your boost settings high enough that you aren't hitting fuel cut due to that. A .90 setting should work well for you.
BTW: your profile doesn't state what gen you have. If you have an FC you can ignore me...
PS: On cooler nights I usually turn the gain on the SBC-ID down a few points and that helps tame the spikes (usually stops them)

actually, I call that "squatting". The rear of the car squats down when you punch it ... I guess you can call it lifting the front too... I call it squatting.
With my stock motor, it took about 14psi to get my car to squat. With my new motor it squats @ 10psi.

Whatever, I'm not gonna waste my time being childish here anymore. Everyone goes to whoever they think is the best mechanic, tuner, whatever. I'm not gonna talk trash about other places, and I wish other people would do the same. I'm going to read the pfc manual tonight and learn how to read the stupid ignition timing map and personally make sure its not too advanced when i tune for high boost. If everything goes right, I should post some big numbers Thursday night.
