Re: Dyno'd my T78 @ 13PSI

Are you sure its the boost controller and not the wastgate?? I had an issue long time ago similar to you and it was the diagram on the wastgate split open. just thought i would share my experience with you. do a vaccum test on the wastegate and see if it leaks.

Good #'s BTW,.....ready to race???

thanks not yet.... at higher boost it seems to be steady. i think i'll play with it first and go from there.

i need axles,LSD, ppf, etc..... i will race on nov 17th at rx7 vs supra day but i can't go too nuts or i will def break something especially if i'm running high boost on race gas LOL

You're not making enough torque based on the dyno chart to beat him yet....he should easily put 3-4 cars on you based on my estimate. Turn your boost up!!!!!

Yes come one come all!!!!! the more Rx7 team support we could get, the more trouble the supra racers are going to be in...

No offence bro, but don't make comments on what you have NO knowlege about.

Fact- I had 1000 miles on my motor when it broke.
Fact-Dave admitted to faulty tuning, timing to be specific.
Fact-He's never tuned a race car
Fact-He lacks the knowledge/confidence whatever
Fact-He broke my motor on the dyno due to faulty tuning (time issue's again)
Fact.......He hasn't damn clue on tuning single turbo cars for more than 15psi. Anyone can plug and play with maps and see if they work and watch A/F ratios.
Fact-There is no break in needed on a rotary. Demetrios K. has been on the same motor for a year. When it was brand new it was christened on the dyno at 25lbs of boost. What the hell do you people think needs to be broken in, pieces of steel???? Stop following the masses and think for yourself.
Fact- I've got the damn best tuner I've ever delt with. Wanna guess who???? I don't recall KDR putting out any 9 second RX7's lately.
Fact- Im sick of this conversation over and over. Drop it and don't bring it up and I won't...........Let it die.

And lemmie know when ya hit 128mph at 20psi on a stock reman

I'd love to go but I've got other obligations...car is up and running but I'm not pushing it past 10psi since I've had some problems with a sticky injector in the past couple of weeks.
anything going on the following weekend?

Hey vosko,
Just curious, what's up with all the spikes in your dyno sheet? Between 4-7k it seems all over the place.

As long as you keep rubbing in your thoughts of KDR's inability to tune or whatnot I'll speak in their defence. Time slips have NOTHING to due with the tuner, but are all in the hands of the driver. I don't know if I'll be in the 10's anytime soon, but that is because I am not a drag racer. My car is setup for the street and road course, though I do drag every now and then for fun. MY suspension is way too stiff to be ideal for drag. I plan to do a 20 psi dyno run on Thursday. I'll post results then.
