As the subject reads.

I think the part number is 757707-10 for that. Call up a Garrett dealer (maybe ATPturbo.com).

Why would you want one? Divided housings provide an assisted spool up ...

Yep, and I even make them in for 7 rotor engines.

That would work too. . .I'm just a bit less hopeful that I'll find that.

Being that I'm probably not going to find an undivided housing, anyone have any good ideas for collecting/dividing 3 runners into 2? I've though on it for a while, but I'd be interested to here what some of you guys think.

RacerXtreme7? rotarygod?

Is simply collecting the three into one and going directly into the turbine about as good as it gets? Should I use a divided or an undivided flange?

Use a 3 into 1 merge collector and an undivided flange, otherwise you end up with turbulence you dont want.

Yeah, a 3 into 1 symetrically (like a triangle pattern, not 3 side by side). Leave a few inches or length after the collector before the turbine flange. If a open valute turbine can't be found (good luck) then you can put a radious in the center divider on the tubrine housing inlet, dont knife edge it too shapely though, it'll most likely crack if thats done.

Not sure what a/r they're available in but why not use a Tial housing? Other than the added cost of course.

I'd actually prefer to, but I'm just concerned that they won't flow as much as the T6 housings, and being that I'm running it on a 20B, I'm worried about being able to move the requisite amount of exhaust.

I think those TiAl housings were designed to outflow the T4s, but they don't seem like they'd be able to hang with the T6s going off the area of the housing entry area alone.

What kind of power goals do you have? I take it you are making a custom manifold? Airflow on the Tial housings is pretty equal to the standard flanges.

ErnieT will be running one on his car. Almost 800hp not quite enough flow for ya?

yeah that part number I put up was of course for a divided housing, my mistake.

Anyway, you can get a Holset HX55 with an undivided inlet I believe. Have you considered that?

This is the only car on here that I've seen using one. The obvious good thing about this comparison (for me at least) is the striking similarity to my application. The bad thing is the nature of the type of car that particular customer was after. I'd be real interested to see if what looked like choking up top was *just* from the exhaust, or if (and to what extent) it was from the turbine housing. Sean alluded to them being better than T4s, but also said that their performance up top is yet uncharted (at least to him at that time).

~850rwhp with around an ~8500rpm redline (for fewer shifts) out of my 20B is about the the upper limit of what I'm after. Will the TiAl housing work for me?

CALLING CRISPEED! crispeed, you out there? Care to whisper me a riddle? Please.

Thanks everybody for your input. I sincerely appreciate it.

^ Right. . . I had seen that, but the proof, as they say, is in the pudding and Ernie's pudding is still setting up in the fridge. I am eagerly waiting his results. Based on the fact that Cris and Enzo helped size/spec/acquire that piece (it's so cloak and dagger ) the results will be good, I expect.

Thank you Ludwig for your input.
