Divided Mani with undivided Housing?

Here is the story. I had a custom mani built that is tang divided. I was going to go with a 1.15 divided housing but was talked into a .96 and Here is a the problem. The new .96 is on center and all that I know is that the divided housing should spool quicker then undivided. Should I get the 1.15 divided or am I just wasting My time and stay with the .96 undivided? Also I heard that using the on center housing with a divided mani can cause problems with cracking, is this true? The compressor is a T-72.

Thanks

If you've already got a divided mani, then I would get a divided turbo. Might as well take advantage.
