Arrow Differences b'n 270 and 360 Degree Thrust Bearing?

I know that the 270 Is of an older design and with the 360 Thrust Bearing being the newer.

Also, that the Trust Bearing Itself does nothing to promote performance but It's purpose Is to to promote *longevity* as It's sole purpose. Is this so cut and dry?

I need to know the differences as my TO4B divided may end up having this.

Turbo shops like to promote the 360-degree thrust bearing, but the thrust bearing is just there to extend longevity as you have mentioned.

If you keep away from the compressor surge and overboosting, the thrust bearing design doesn't really matter,

The 360 might give you a slight upgrade over the 270, but a turbo that is abused is still going to kill the 360 in short time.
