Crispeed Tuned 1st Gen - Dynosheet attached
1985 RX-7 GSL-SE
13BRE "Cosmo" Two rotor
93 Pump Fuel / Low Boost Setting (14 PSI)
Haltech E6K / 63-1 Turbo
Ford 8.8 Rear End (much heavier, with more drivetrain loss)
Nasty, Hot Conditions - 100 degrees+
408 RWHP at 14 PSI
Crispeed Tuned.
Don't go by the A/F numbers on the Sheet, the Dyno's wideband was off by .75 or more +/-.
We were getting bad ignition readings over 14PSI, so we couldn't run anymore boost. Might have a bad CAS. Will look into it this week.
The car did 340 at 9 PSI (Wastegate spring) and 408 at 14PSI. Looking forward to 17 and 19 PSI on pump gas. Then go for broke on Race Fuel.
I am verrrrry happy with the Turbo. The boost comes on nice and quick,
with no lag. Pulls like a freight train. The drag radials are no match for traction.
BIIIIG Difference in drivability over the Holley Blow-Through setup I previously had. Not to mention, more power under the curve.
I am in love all over again.
Thanks Cris.

it kinda looks like my results after BDC tuned my 13bre. Boost was a HKS 1 BAR spring, but I think it was creeping to about 15 -16psi in a few map cells.

To be honest. I looked at this thread earlier and was mildly impressed by those numbers. Then I remembered that it was in a 1st gen!! Holy shyte that car must be insanely fast. And I also forgot earlier that you were on such low boost. My question is, where did you find a 63-1?? I looked for a little over a year for one of those and couldn't find one. I've since decided to go with something else, but I'm still curious where you found one. Great results!! Congrats to you, I'm sure you worked hard to get to this point.

Radkins: 7800 is where we let off. It is a single turbo Rotary you know (not twins), it keeps making more power as we rev it. As you can see the power is linear, and the torque is flat. It's making over 250hp by 5000 RPM. By "no lag" I mean its making boost and usable power early in the powerband.
BoostedRex: The 63-1 was custom made to specs, it's very similar to a GT35/40 in sizing.

In Australia, we have heaps of 400+rwhp (on Dyno Dynamics or Dyna Pack Dyno's) 1st Gen's! And 400+rwhp RX-3's, RX-2's, and even R100's! Now THOSE are beasts!
