Cheapest place for 60-1?
I'm looking for the cheapest place to get a 60-1. Also, I've never ordered a turbo before, so I was wondering if I am able to pick and choose between:
- Turbine housing A/R's
- Divided or un-divided turbing housings
- O or P trim turbine wheels
Also, if I were to use the HKS cast with the 60-1 on a S5 13bt, what would you guys suggest in terms of sizing the turbine side? I am looking for a max of 12-15psi boost reached at no later than 4000rpm.
Also, I understand that the HKS cast ends with an un-divided T4 flange, but I was thinking of going with a slightly bigger A/R divided turbine housing because I am planning to make another manifold sometime later. Does it even matter if I use the divided housing with the un-divided flange?
Thanks for the help!

yea you can pick.choose whatever you want. if you want max boost by 4k with that manifold you'd have to go with a .8 undivided, or maybe around a .95 divided with a divided manifold. P trim should bring better results in theory.

Cheapest place for a 60-1 would of been me..lol. I'm not offering this deal anymore for a while. Check CHEAPTURBOS.COM or get on ebay and find someone selling NEW Garett turbos. Email them requesting a T04s with the folowing specs.
*T04s .7 A/R comressor housing (4" inlet 2.5" disscharge)
*60-1 compressor wheel. (2.324" inducer 3.000" exducer)
*360 degree thrust (an option you should get.
*wet center (another option I recommend, but not needed)
*P-trim tubine wheel (any thing other then a p-trim is a complete waste on a 13b, unless you want full drag laggy Q-trim for a 60-1)
* either a .96 non-divided tang housing with a non-divided manifold OR a 1.00 A/R divided tang housing with a divided manifold.
Make sure whom ever you order your turbo from follow those specs and don't deviate from it. Anyone who sells new Garrett parts can build you this turbo. You can always go to the bigger turbo companies (Turbonetics, Innovative, Majestic, etc) but you'll pay more for the exact same parts from a smaller Garrett supplier.
I have no idea were Rx treme got his A/R values, but theres is no .8 undivided or a .95 divided T4 turbines. There is a .81 non divided (way too small, stay away from it) and in divided you get .84 (good for quicker spool, slight less top end) 1.00 A/R good spool and top end) or a 1.15 A/R (full top end punch).
Like what was said already, you can choose what ever turbine housing flavor you want. But stick with P-trim with what I recommend (.96 non, 1.00 divided or quicker spool .84 divided, or top end 1.15 a/r divided)
Its ok to use a divided manifold with a non divided turbine, but a non-divided manifold with a divided turbine isnt a good idea, both spool and top end will suffer. Best is a fully divided mani and turbine, but the non divided HKS with the .96 non divided works ok. Avoid the on-center housings unless you have engine compartment space problems or run a small turbo were spool isnt a concern.

Call Steve up at Gotham. He hooked me up with a killer T60-1 setup and car is a beast. He will set you up with the best turbo for your application.

Thanks for the replies! Cheapturbo.com has it, but I wasn't so sure if that was the 60-1 I was looking for. Thanks RacerXtreme7 for confirming.
Will the HKS standard wg that fits on the manifold be fine for my goals? I'm looking to make ~350-420 rwhp with my streetport using this setup...?
