changing turbos....possibly. mpt70 to bw s366
#76
There was a guy up in Canada, using the MP GT45 on an S4 HBP. Put down like 698rwhp....but, it took quite a bit of boost. So that gives me an idea of a ballpark power. If I get lucky I can make similar power with less boost.

WOW! 698 is no freakin' joke and then to do it on an s4 motor. Yeah I wouldn't see why you couldn't make equal or more horse power with less boost with the larger RE ports. I guess your sig should say 700hp or bust You know when I was doing all the research on the Masterpower brand I heard a couple of different people say not to get the gt45 because it's just a little larger than a t66 (which I was thinking maybe they were talking about the t70) but I've never heard of a t66 making 700rwhp.

yeah the MP T70 is a mixture of both a T66 and T70 so it makes for a stout street car. All in all most people who look down on Master Power have either never used them or got jipped in the beginning from the ebay fakes. the facility they use is actually ISO 9001 certified. They are slowly coming up, they have a 74mm unit and a new line of BB turbos which dont have a release date yet

Rofl, sorry guys in the next week or so I'll be going up to kilo's shop and will be dynoing the car then. If it doesn't make 500hp I will be turning up the boost. I've spent entirely too much money to not make that much power I promise I will update you guys as soon as I know. In fact I'll probably bring my laptop up there just to post the results for you. I may even get a few pics and a movie of the car on the dyno
