Can I make gaskets for Turbo?
I got this Gasket material from a Parts store.
It is Like Cardboard like material on both sides, but it Sandwiches a thin sheet of metal?aluminum?.
Anyways,I got it to make up Exhaust gaskets on my Pipes/mufflers as I found it hard to source.I made my own up and Voila!.stopped all my Exhaust leaks on my RB system.(oh the stuff is Fireproof, tested it with a Lighter. No burning.)
I am wondering if I can use this Type of Gasket material to make gaskets for the Turbo/Mani and for the Turbo/Down pipe gaskets?
Anyone got any Input?.Thanks Guys.STYX.

i dont think it will hold up... i bought soft graphite sheet from this company and cut them out myself..it works amazing.. holds up to 5000 degrees F... it makes a great seal... copper will hold up to about 1300... i will work for exhaust thats down the line towards the back because its cooler and thats what its made for...but as for the turbo i dont think so...the turbo does get red hot as you know..
