Thanks for the input.

What turbine housing and turbine wheel have you guys been using? Full-race has options for 0.91, 1.00, and 1.10 divided T4 turbine housings and the option of a "flat tip" and "cupped tip" turbine wheels.

I am thinking about running the 1.00 divided T4 with the flat tip turbine wheel through full-race's manifold and twin Tial MVS wastegates....basically redoing my entire turbo setup.

Call up full race and they will help you out I am going to be running a full race manifold with twin 45mm turbosmart gates and the borgwarner s300 sx fmw with a cupped tip and .91 a/r I don't plan on running a lot of boost so that's what they recommended for my set up. My turbo gets here Monday.

The other turbo I'm somewhat interested in that is comparative in size to the S300SX (S362) FMW is the Precision 6266 CEA. Journal bearing option for that turbo is a few hundred cheaper than the BW FMW turbo.

BW S362 FMW...Compressor: 61.4mm/83.4mm...Turbine: 76.1mm/68mm
Precision 6266 CEA...Compressor: 62mm/82mm...Turbine: 74mm/66mm

Hate to be the negative Nancy all the time but DO NOT BUY A PRECISION. I've seen in person a wastegate and two turbos turn sour. Stick with Borg Warner or my next least favorite Garrett.

Well that sucks...looked like a good turbo spec's-wise. I've only run Garrett and Greddy/Mitsubishi in the past.

Looks like Borg Warner it will be.

Any news ? I'm about to buy a BW and wanted to know if I should spend the extra $ for the FMW or go with the S300/63 with 1.00 exh. ?

Just put myself on the waiting list for the EFR7670. Sadly its a loooonnnggg waiting list.....4-8 months..... But car is still in the build so no rush at this point. Plan will be to run the 1.05 divided T4 hotside on a full divided short runner manifold with twin gates on screamer pipes. Looking for response and midrange and about 400whp on E85 and around 20psi. Hopefully it delivers.

How do these turbos compare to one another? I was interested in the s362 fmw initially, but curious about fitment with an HKS manifold so I might be leaning towards Precision which leads me to think of a more compact package overall (and cheaper). I have friends that run PTE turbos @ 38-42psi with great success, so I'd imagine my goal of something in the 22 psi range would seem relatively doable. Not a direct relation, but just seeing Precision's numbers vs. an EFR 8374 (though I'm not sure how closely these turbos are related.

The Big Thread - BW 8374 Precision 6266 vs. Borg Warner 8374 EFR DYNO TESTING/RESULTS

Sorry for the stupid questions, but honestly after a lot of research I'm more confused than when I started trying to figure this stuff out. Also looking at Howard's s363 I'm trying to figure out its relationship vs. an s362 fmw. Unfortunately the guys at the car shop I deal with kind of point me in the direction of some 7xmm turbos.

That comparison of the EFR vs precision is inconclusive. I really doubt that supra had a proper twin scroll exhaust manifold. Putting a twin scroll turbo on a single scroll manifold would explain the huge difference and drop off of power on the EFR. I can't wait to dyno my car with the s300 sx fmw that I have but it will still be a couple weeks as I am saving for my ems and tuning. When I get it done I will post results here.

Just to give a heads up. We will be doing a greiup buy for a custom made 11 blade wheel for around $1050 beginning of next week. . And yes the ftw or our 11 blade inducer wheel is defiantly worth the money. Seeing a gain of around 70-100 hp on the s366 from the basic turbo. And around 40-50 hp increase on the s362.

YEs we do have a billet 11-blade wheel for the 366 and for the 4 series Borgs too. The s472,s475, and the s480.

But ours is not called a Fmw. Ours is a US made billet Aluminum 11 blade wheel. Ours is made out of 70/75 Military Aircraft Aluminum and MADE IN THE United States. These parts are not imported in.

Any updates?

Was recommended that I run the 0.91 A/R with flat-tip turbine wheel, but am really questioning if 1.00 A/R would be better.

Just curious but did you ever make a decision between the .91 or the 1.00?

Yes, I got the 0.91 A/R. Unfortunately I am still acquiring the final parts for my build, so I do not have an experience with it yet.

Any updates mate? Really struggling to find info on here, every thread ends abruptly just as it starts to get interesting. Like this^ one, haha.

Im on the verge of getting myself the exact same turbo, still a bit undecided whether to get the .91 or the 1.00. I want max spool, but if the 1.00 delivers the goods only 100rpm later I'm thinking it would be the better option for lower egts and back pressure and a touch more potential up top?

Anyone know much about these? http://www.google.com.au/url?sa=t&rc...51495398,d.aGc
Would this be more suitable for a 400+ rwhp 13b application than the s362? Or not?
