BOV choice and install location
All i need is a BOV for my Turbo project ( fianlly almost there). What do you guys suggest? I'm leaning toward the Tial 50mm. Also I have seen the BOV's installed on either side of the intercooler piping.. which side is better? thanks..

Gonzz,
Your car is looking good.
I went with the Turbonetics raptor BOV. You can pick them up from Jegs. I have heard excellent things from the Tial 50mm though. Every review I have read on it says that the machining is flawless.
As far as location I have heard a couple things:
1. get it as close to the TB as possible
2. Get it as close to the turbo as possible
I placed mine as on the TB. You can see the picture below for reference.
I am interested as to what results crazyrx7 has though. Do you have any pictures?

i think the reasoning behind having the bov on the throttle body side is to prevent the boost leak that could happen due to the pressure drop across teh intercooler. Also, the compressed air wont have to change direction to exit through the bov if it is mounted near the throttle plates, which means faster reaction to the throttle closing.

It is about the reaction time upon closing of the throttle. The closer the BOV is to the throttle plates, the faster it will react and let out excess air charge. Just think about it. All of the pressurized air will be sitting at the TB when you let off the throttle, would you rather have it exit as close to there as possible or all the way back by the turbo? That's just how it was explained to me.
And I have personally used the GReddy Type S, Apex'i twin chamber, TurboXS type H, Blitz DD. I now own the Tial 50mm and I don't plan to ever change away from it. It simply flows more than any other BOV I have seen. It may not have the "cool lazer sound" that some of the others do, but I'd rather have the performance instead of a cool sound. Just my .02

Now you just need to get it mounted up right next to the TB and you'll be good to go. Congrats on purchasing one of the best BOV's on the market. Out of curiosity, where did you get your BOV from?
