Boost > 18psi w/ PFC or a PnP EMS
Did you guys change out the map sensor with a 3 bar (GM or what not) sensor?
I would feel reluctant to run high boost on the stock map sensor, even with a stand alone EMS.

I understand the limitations of the stock map sensor (not the EMS).
Hence, my question for those running high boost with an EMS like the PFC.
I used to run the GM 3 Bar MAP sensor on my Haltech FC, but I now have an FD (used to have a programmed ECU and now it has AEM).
I ask the question to see who's done it and what calibration they've done. Thanks for the reference, Art.
I recall that the GM 3 bar MAP sensor wasn't real expensive and I think the later P/N is correct (~$49).
Machinehead,
I would hope that the PFC is not limited to 17psi and that the sensor is the only thing preventing it from higher boost. I've never played with the PFC, but I would imagine it can map out to whatever boost the MAP sensor can handle.
