Blow off valve install question: HKS ssqv

Hey guys i'm just now getting ready to duct my FMIC.

I got the flange for the blow off valve today, the valve is a jdm style HKS ssqv.

I'm wondering if there is a rubber o-ring that goes in the flange to create a seal, or should i use some silicone RTV for a seal??

Any help would be appreciated :-)

Thanks in advance
~Geoff

After doing more research i did find an o-ring on the site, of which of COURSE they don't supply with either the blow off valve OR the flange...

so i'll have to see if i can find something else that would work in its stead.

False alarm guys but thanks for reading anyways.

that's wierd, my bov came with the o-ring and the metal clip that holds it all together in the flange. mine is a bit different but it's the latest version of the super sequential. did you get yours new??? it looks like the older models. if you got it off ebay or soemthing then someone is a lame *** and didnt send you what you need.

Yeah i got it off e-bay for $75, which is like half of what they normally go for. So i'm not complaining there..

The wierd thing is, they provided the clip but not the o-ring!?! what???

thats not an ssqv. The guy obviously wanted to try and find someone who didnt know what it looked like and scam them. The flange is suppose to come with a c clip and an O-ring seal.

this is the super sequential that i have and everything that came with it. the flange i bought seperately. but all those other little pieces came with the actual BOV. the retaining clip, the RED O-RING that you need, a mini-air filter, etc.... i say go to napa with your flange and find an o-ring that fits snug in to the main groove.

just bring the flange to any auto parts store and find a o-ring that fits the groove and you're all good to go.
