You might also consider the T04R turbo.... it's got a 67mm compressor wheel and can make higher power than a T66, but has a considerably smaller compressor housing (.7AR) than Turbonetic's .55AR T-series housings.

The T04R comes from HKS as a P-trim turbo (small exhaust wheel) with a big AR on the exhaust side for flow.

CTC Motorsports sells a turbo called the CTC67 that is built for them by Precision Turbo using a To4R compressor wheel and housing, and a P-trim wheel w/ your choice of AR.... basically a copy of the To4r... for about half the price.

...or, step up to what I personally have on order for my car... the CTC67H.. for higher flow, it uses a q-trim exhaust wheel. Price is more because of the exhaust wheel upgrade, but it's still less than the HKS To4R and IMHO a better turbo because of the Q-Trim. And it's got the small Garrett To4r .7AR compressor housing which will probably fit in your car.....

Just thought I'd let you know there IS another option, bigger than T62...

BTW, wassup Carl? Did you ever get that Tein issue resolved on your Supra?

Andi, I replaced the pillowballs with the stock mounts. I would tell anyone using the pillowballs to take them apart, and loctite the bearing retainer to prevent it from working its way out. SO mr Turbo, does ctc have any experience with rotaries? I have decided to leave the Supra at bpu for now and focus on my single turbo rx7 road race car. I am trying to come up with a turbo good for 550rwhp. It's not as easy as the supra as there is not that much info out there above 450hp. I know you worked with Precision, I have talked to Harry over there. He suggested a GT40 with a .77 inducer, and a .82 exducer, I dont know which ar. The rotaries seem to run larger ARs, for example on a T66 a 1.00ar qtrim seems to be the most common combo for that turbo, yet they only are making high 400s with it... Harry's suggestion was made after a very brief conversation, how much confidence do you have in those guys?(PM me). Please read my "550HP FC" posts, Want to collaberate on coming up with the ultimate Rx7 turbo?(I promise I won't turn you in to the MKIV POLICE > Call me if you want and we can discuss. Best regards, Carl
