GT3540R is awesome for 400whp. It is about the fastest spooling turbo that can produce 400+whp @1bar.

I love my GT35r T4. Very streetable. It made 436 at 16psi, we'll hopefully see what the RS wheel does in a couple of weeks.

Thats outstanding . How would you compare the spool up to the stock twins ? Obviously this turbo pulls strong, but I read once they putter out over 7k. How is the torque on the high end of the rev's ?

Where did you get your kit from ? I see a bunch of GT35 and GT35r kits selling at diffrent shops.

I have full boost by 3600-3700 rpms however this is on a damaged exhaust wheel. It's A-Spec's kit. As I said I'll hopefully have results of the 35RS within a couple of weeks.
My T3 35R definately puttered out a bit in the upper RPM's but I'd say this T4 pulls stronger up top.
If you search for a thread named something like GT35R T4 now available or something in this section you'll find my dyno sheet towards the end. I can't access photobucket right now so I don't have it in front of me to give you an idea of the torque.

The 35RT4 on brokens car has fantastic transient response. At least as good as the twins. The RS should flow much nicer and be within 200-300rpm in spool depending on gear. This means you could see 1bar by roughly 35-3600rpm and still have plenty up top. The RS will support plenty of airflow. Here is the info for those interested.

Since he did 436@16lbs on pump, I don't see 450 on pump being a problem with the RS. It is very similar to a To4R only BB.

A little money? T04Z is BIG money. But it is a nice turbo. For my money I'd still go with a 1.00A/R T4 GT35R RS from A-Spec. I know it's what I'm using for my drift car. And my wife's FD will be getting a T3 hotside GT35R.

T3 will hit 400whp on a well sorted tune and ported motor. You need to either make or find a T3 manifold though. Thread is was started in 05
