What feed fitting are you using?
I just swapped my Walbro's for the Bosch and have the wrong inlet fittings. They are the Aeroquip -8an to 18mmx1.5 but they have 13/16 hex and do not have enough surface area to seal against the inlet on the pump. So if someone feels like crawling under their car tonight could you look at the manufacturer and let me know who made your inlet fitting and what size the hex is?

I mounted my pair of pumps under the car with a pickup tube going down into the OEM "surge tub" in the tank from the top to where the stock in-tank fuel pump used to be. You will have to prime the line the first time you turn it on to get it going but after that it should stay full of fuel always so you wont have any issues.

Okay so I got the fittings from Jay Racing that they sell as specific fittings for the 044 and they were identical to the one's I already had. So the fittings can be ruled out as the problem. I put them back in last night and fuel pressure is all over the place.
In vacuum it holds steady but into boost the fuel pressure drops off below base and then spikes to where it should be. After the spike it is not steady. Also the idle is now lean and will actually die if I don't keep on the throttle.
The only change that I have made to the entire setup is the swap from the two Walbro pumps to the two Bosch pumps and the system does not work now.
What has everyone's experience been with these pumps? I am almost convinced that these pumps were most likely damaged in shipping since they came stuffed in a FedEx flat rate box.

Okay try this one on for size.
I cleaned both filters the outlet being significantly more dirty than the inlet, most likely from the Walbro that **** the bed. The 044's sound much better but still make noise when they are run together, kind of like infrequent squirrel chater but when they are run individually they make no noise what so ever. Also when they are run together the idle of the motor slowly degrades from the mid 12's all the way until it stalls. When they are run individually the motor idles like it should. So it leans out with two pumps, runs rich with one pump.
Anybody have any ideas??
