Just about finished with my gt35 project, I bought the a-spec short runner kit from cosmo kramer back in november and it has been a long way coming. Enjoy.

Just getting all the loose ends together.. still have the a1000+filter, surge tank, 3bar map sensor, hks twin ign amplifier , & plugs and plug wires to put on before we can call her done. Steve Kan will be tuning her the 1st weekend in July

Nice, why did you paint the engine bay black? (your car is orange, red & black?)
That's alot of clearance on intake manifold side. Does it rub on the fender side?
Is that a Greddy FMIC? It doesn't look like it leaves room for the bumper.

The whole car used to be red, we didn't pull the motor to paint the engine bay while we painted the whole car so this was the closest to having everything out of the way as its been. It was easier to paint it black then to use sealer and paint it orange. It doesn't rub on either side and yes its a Greddy 3 row. Havn't fit the bumper back over it yet so we'll see about the fitment

Awesome, how long do you anticipate that the stock engine will last with 400rwhp? or is the boost down at the moment? I was always under the impression that a rotary should be dowwed and pinned at anythign above 300rw.

boost is down to 15psi (which was the 417whp) It will last FOREVER

Great job on the build!! I have beat the hell out of my 373 rwhp non-seq. twins (15-16 psi). Have 14000 on this block. I think anything over 425-450 rwhp it would be a good idea to pin it. Stock motor to p-port is fine. Just get enough fuel in and good tune. G

Candy3s, congrats on the numbers man! I remember when Ihor made 470 at 20 psi on a t3 35R way back in the day, so I'm not surprised at all. I'm stoked to get my setup tuned, soon soon soon........

im def happy to see those numbers at 15psi....but 417 is kinda not the avg fpor a stock motor...do u have dyno chart. there was nocreep usually stock ports net 417 at more like 16-17 ??? anybody?

The motor definitely doesnt have to be doweled/pinned at 300 rwhp, maybe at 600 rwhp.

I had my doubts about the short-runner kit, but I'm more then happy with it now. Hope your project goes well.

keep in mind that the correction factor was extremely high due to the high altitude. I think it was 1.23. The numbers seemed slightly inflated and I told Candice that it might be off a little. Uncorrected hp at 23psi was 414rwhp? I maxed out the flow on the turbo, it wasn't holding anymore boost and was slowly dropping to 21ish psi towards the higher rpm.
