thanks max, i dont know why but my message in the thread didnt come up, thats kinda wierd, anyway, i have been having problems with my apexi wastegate, I have only been able to get the car to boost to 10 pounds or less. any suggestions? I am working with a greddy profec b, and with it all the way turned up i am still only getting 10 pounds. with the profec turned off its only about 7 pounds. Are there any other brand of springs that fit the apexi wastegate? like greaddy or hks? I will look into that hks ss racing wastegate. how did you like it max?

I'm sure what's wrong, if anything, with your wastegate. It could be stuck open, or perhaps there isn't enough pre-load on the spring (take it off and see if the valve will be pressed against the seat). Or it could be some kind of boost controller hookup problem (doesn't sound like it if it only makes 7 psi with the controller off, though). I had trouble with my A'PEXi wastegate sticking (slightly open, but it still made full boost at high RPM) on the track, but it was fine most of the time on the street. That made me nervous, so I replaced it with the HKS SS Racing unit. That one works fine.

hmm, yeah, i cant figure out what the problem is, i had the car at KDR for some tuning a couple months ago and the mechanic there checked over all my vacuum lines and said they were ok. I replaced all my vacuum lines with hose from hose techniques as well and that helped a little. I have had the wastegate off the car and i have had it apart more then a few times and still just cant get boost out of it. oh well, i guess i will just have to keep trying different things. thanks for the replys.
