Anyone running twin aftermarket turbos in an FD?

The Ricer Eliminator
I think Pettit has a kit for $2,400. I saw a kit somewhere else as well. I can't remember though(maybe M2). If Pettit's is around there, you can bet on the other one's being around there as well.
The question is..... is an after market twin setup worth it.
There are definite pro's. it seems like you could keep everything you already had(intercooler, air pump etc.). That might be neat. You could get rid of all your sensors and vacuum lines by running them nonsequencial. You could use a Y pipe with a Blitz SMIC and maybe eek a little more power out than some other setups, and still pass emissions. The only thing that makes me think twice is heat. The twins will make more heat than a single. Right?

There is m2 and pettit. Bryan at BNRsupercars also takes your core and makes a great turbo setup. M2 and pettit are potentially dangerous because the wheels they put in are too heavy for the small spindle. Bryan shaves his down to just about the same weight but the blades look a lot more agressive and he has a dyno chart where they put down ~380rwhp with a stock motor. PM kwik7 or kwikrx7 (I forgot his username) but he should have just got his.

twin 3037's will be pushing 600hp at like 1.2 boost. not much response, my 51r has better response. very expensive, one 3037 is about $200 less than my 51r. exaust plumbing is a pain... in japan it is mostly a cool factor and how the rich kids flant...

I thought about going with an aftermarket twin turbo setup, but I knew my car will end up in the shop forever. Also, tuning, installation, and money will most likely be big problem. However, it's still a pretty cool idea.
Jay, just go with my setup.

Wow.. that is crazy... I'd love to have that, but after thinking about the money and tuning needed... it would be easier to go single... I guess it's more of the BLING factor!!
Jay, and which setup is that?

i would like to go triple too.what would be some good tri-turbos?dont show me a pic of 3 gt2835 either.maybe like 3 td06's or 3 t4's.im actually thinkin what the characteristics would be?
spool per turbo?
hp level?
i would be putting this a on bridged 20b.
i like an idea of 3 smaller turbos with internal w/g.will take care of some of the plumbing.
im aiming for 1000 hp range. and response by at least 4000 rpm's.any info would help.or u could also post it in 3 rotor idea swap thread.

ttpowerd is wrong...the m2 setup is not dangerous because of its larger wheels...its made up of two garrett gt30 ballistics (internals) and is a ball bearing setup...it is not a shaft bearing setup like the bnr twins or other...the old upgrades done by companies like turbonetics or other were often just larger wheels on stock shafts...that is not the case nowadays if it is a reputable builder.
I have the m2 set....they are genuine garrett parts and are built to handle 16-20lbs of boost.
I lost a lot of power down low back when i did a large streetport...the m2 gave me my response back...they were worth every penny.
