you are one of the few that uses water injection for reliability only. Most use water/alky as a means to obtain higher boost by lower egts and iats. I understand what you mean though by "what if it fails" but if you lived in this world constantly you wouldn't be driving a rotary There are fail safes that can be put in place to combat any problems the system may see including clogging and most people with water/alky injection monitor it very well. I know just monitoring it won't do much but if you are really conserned about it that bad then you can look up fail safe and see plans on how to make a device that opens the wastegate when the water nozzle is clogged. I will be running a clog detection system along with monitoring water pressure. I have no fail safe as of right now but seriously anything can happen to a high performance car like wastegates going bad, clogged fuel injectors, etc.. etc... etc... why be so worried about the water injection system?
