Could you scan the relevant part of the instructions? HKS doesn't have them on their site and I can't find them anywhere else

After getting confused many times with all forms of the EVC, basically changing your offset is what changes boost. Find out how to navigate there and then change it up and change it down, I don't remember which way raised boost but I believe increasing the offset raises boost. Then you just need to set your overboost cut and thats about it.

The evc-s is a little different. It uses the same solenoid as greddy and apexi rather than the stepper motor that the other evc products use. I believe the controls are a little different, but hks hasn't put the instructions on their website.

Then there should be basically a setting for duty like the other boost controllers. Just have to look at the manual to figure it out.

^ exactly. from what I could tell it's pretty much an HKS version/competitor of the Greddy Profec Spec II , so the controls should be similar.

Anyone else had the EVC-S installed recently? I been having problems with mine constantly about to over boost so I couldn't get a final tune on my car. Install was done through IRP then also inspected by Enzo in Long Island, both parties couldn't figure out what was wrong.

I have an Evc-s. It's not installed, but I thought the directions were pretty clear. Then again, I read this thread (posted below) before reading the Evc-s directions. You should read it too. It's very informative and might clear things up for you.

I know when I read and tried to understand the greddy unit which is programmed the same way it was confusing.
I had to take the car down by the beach when no one was around and with one person operating the controller and me driving we adjusted it together. I must have read the directions 20 times and still got confused. Until we got hands on and did a little at a time it then became much easier to understand.

No they ain't...

I've got one too. It was hooked up right untill my turbo got replaced with a different sort of wastegate, now we have to figure it out again. Should be done next week.
