Air/Water for daily driver?

wondering if running an A/W intercooler would work OK on a "daily driver"?

Most people that use A/W ICs are drag racers and use icewater to bring temps down. Just stick with A/A IC it'll be overall better in the longrun.

well, this is my problem... My car has a molded body kit so in order for me to use a FMIC i would have to break up the body work to remove the front bumper. Then of course it would be blocking air flow to the oil cooler as well. I was thinkin of putting the A/W right in place of the factory airbox (N/A car originaly) so There would only be may be 8" of intercooler piping, if that. I am not 100% sure of the liquid or anything but i was thiking of using that "super cool" radiator fluid along with a decent sized heat exchanger.

Aren't air to water intercoolers pretty pricey? I think they'd be ideal for a street car if money wasn't any issue because of the issues stated. FMIC can cause increases oil and coolant temps. I've heard nothing but kick *** feedback about VMIC's
