I'm basically attaching fittings to the stock hard lines, and then running a new 1/2 return line from the regulator. The hard line will have -AN fittings and then run SS braided line up to the regulator and attach with -AN fittings. The fuel bay door will have the stock tubes removed, and replaced with bulkhead fittings and run ss to the pump, the new return line will be added using a -8 bulkhead fitting and then running a peice of hardline right into the tank. Two Summit fuel filters will be added both having -AN fittings and attaching somewhere, I have yet to decide where to put them, but it will be close to the stock one, but much easier to access. This will basically make the whole fuel system all custom ASIDE from the stock hard lines which remain.
When I get the parts, I'm going to do a writeup and lots of pics for anyone who is interested in throwing in dual cosmo pumps. There are cheaper ways, but this way will look f'ing sweet.

Removing:
EAR-165056ERL Fitting, -6 AN Male to 5/16 in. Tube, Aluminum, Red/Blue, Each $9.25 Monday 4
Adding:
EAR-165006ERL Fitting, -6 AN Male to 3/8 in. Tube, Aluminum, Red/Blue, Each $9.25 Monday 4
Apparantly the stock hard line is 3/8"

Nice list, but mine is a bit more extensive. I'm also running two Supra pumps but with -6 lines, then I T'd off to a -10 feed line after it leaves the tank to an Aeromotive fuel filter, then a -6 return line. All steel braided, all from the tank to the engine. I have lost count on how many fittings I've gone through trying to make all of this fit.

1.) You're using a fuel block to tie the pumps together.
2.) You're only running 1 line. (1 feed, 1 return)
I don't think i posted them, but I have two inline fuel filters, both -6 rated for 75psi. I might have to go -8 for the pressure cause I don't know if I'll exceed 75psi on the dyno. If the rate is 1 to 1 and I don't ever plan on going over 30psi, I think i'll be fine.
But.. you are using all braided.. which make it is a lot easier.. BUT more expensive. I saved $200 by switching ss braided to hard line (thanks Guitarjunkie). Who looks under the car to see anyway. Hard line with -AN fittings is as good as braided line with -AN fittings IMO.
I thought about going that route, but all my fittings under the hood are already -6, so i'd have to get rid of them and run -8 or -10, i figure since I already have the under the hood part done.. I'll just run another line and add on to what I already have.

Good work with the hard lines. I guess I'm fortunate to have a local shop down the street where I can run and get the stuff right away and not have to wait for it to come in. It still doesn't mean I can get the stuff right the first time to begin with. I litterally have over a dozen fittings sitting in the garage that simply wouldn't work. Either the regulator wouldn't fit where I wanted it, the feed line wouldn't fit with the secondaries, etc etc...

I had -6 fittings welded onto my secondary rail. You just have to get the right angle and cut the line to length =P Its easy in theory, but its probably another story when you're actually doing it.

I just upgraded my entire fuel system, sump in tank to filter to pump to regulator to carb... all aluminum line and SS braided... and man I ordered fittings from Summit about literally 5 times in the last two weeks to get what I need. Mind you each order is a $10 handeling fee. I love AN fittings though.. they come off and screw back on so easy once the intial set-up is done.

my t2 has (2) Walbro pumps each running a -8AN directly out of the tank. Goes out to individual -8AN Barry grant 100 micron fuel filters, after the filters each is reduced to -6AN, the -6AN is run all the way to the motor and connected to SuperNOW! billet fuel rails with 890/1680cc injectors. Then -6AN to an Aeromotive fuel regulator (13109 IIRC). then a -6AN return line all the way back to the tank.
it's far from cheap but nothing else at all is stock on the car so i figured might as well get rid of the hard lines too.
kevin.

So while we're on the topic, can someone explain how the AN to tube fittings are supposed to go on (like you might connect to the stock hard lines)? they have a small (brass?) ring in the middle... I must have done it wrong the first try, because that ring got messed up and the fitting would just pull off.

Either that, or you bought fittings that were too large.
My understanding is the fitting goes over the tube, and your wrench down the fitting so it's tight on the line.. it should compress onto the line hard enough so it won't move.

1.) Tightens down to the tube
2.) You put the fitting on and flare the end so it can't be removed?
These are two different pieces, correct?

I'm confused about the one with the small ring loose inside it. So when disassembled it has a red bottom that fits over the tube, a brass ring and a blue threaded adapter that screws into the red part and has an -AN connection.
What do I do with that ring?
Should the tube have a lip on the end (as it does stock) or should that be cut off?
To be clear, I am talking about the fittings for solid pipe / tubing. Not for flexible hose.
