i got this turbo off of a 97 ford powerstroke.
i wtill dont have my motor built yet but i thought i would post some pics of the turbo.
this thing should move alot of air

 

the specs on the turbo
hot AR 115 MI
cold 1.10 AR

anyone used one of these before?

 

Wouldn't be a "bad" turbo for the high reving rotary engine, although it is a turbo that is built "backwards".

The compressor outlet and the turbine inlet are on the "wrong" side compaired to your normal Garrett or Holset.

 

Are you going to put that thing in?? i'm really curious, i was toying with the idea of using my HT-18 on my 7.3 IDI diesel.

 

Not a very good turbo at all. The reverse rotation makes it a bastard on parts, and they don't make very good power either. Also look on the diesel sites and the PSD's have a hard time keeping those units alive under hard fueled conditions.
