HA HA !
Got Ya!
Actually I'm tuning a 408ci Ford Mustang with twin TE-64's and E6K fuel management. It made 710RWHP. Could not read the torque though because the dyno was having problems with the rpm signal. It's at the limit of the fuel system because the fuel injectors were hitting 85% duty cycle!
It's built to hold around 1000RWHP! Can't wait too see what it will do at 30psi!

SPO: your not saying that there is something wrong with Mustang's are you? I have a 94 Yellow Covt. that I was thinking about going turbo.....that would be another project and I have too many as it stands.
Crispeed: your building the car or tuning it? If not who built the motor? I take it the car has really good flowing heads......what year is it? I'm into all cars....but I really love my 7. Have to admit though....my verts setup is REALLY fun to drive and it looks good too.

Yes it has good flowing heads. Can't remeber the exact specs.

My friend made 464rwhp @ 16 psi with a Votech on his 97GT (4.6 2v) and that was before the aftercooler.
Im trying to get his son (anouther friend of mine) to go TT on his 95GT. His motor is already built with a 306, better crank, forged pistons, GT40x, Trickflow, etc etc etc but hes scared of the Turbos... Ah well, guess hes going to end up with anouther supercharged mustang.

I met a dude at the track once, with a stock looking SN95 5.0 GT, had what looked like an aluminum CAI.
WRONG.
I realized I was wrong when the dude totally schooled me, running an 11.666 @ 124 http://www.geocities.com/izzmus/images/june15_0007.JPG
Talking to him later, he showed me the setup... STOCK engine, RRFPR, twin turbos set to 10psi "but they creep up to 12", and a HUGE hidden intercooler - it mounted horizontally, behind/under the radiator, and had a beefy aluminum dam to guide the air through it. I estimate the core was 12"x36-40", dunno how thick.
The run before that, I was eaten by a 4-cam Cobra with twin turbos, he had 10" slicks and skinnies, he ran a 11.2 at 121... in other words the 5.0 was making more power than the modular job. http://www.geocities.com/izzmus/images/june15_0008.JPG

It don't really matter to me. I don't build them, I just tune it!
I've seen a couple of 347's at over 1100RWHP and well over what the Dyno reads for torque running Mondo's and Novi's. Then there's the really big power guys that only use engine dynos because it would be a waste of time to put a 1800hp motor on a dyno that could only measures at maximum 1200 hp at the wheels.
Let's see it's 1:30am and I just got of the dyno with another car that's going to be running at this weekend NIRA's race here. It's a Civic powered by-->(and the majic word)-->1.8 V-TECH. So far it's done 528RWHP at 27psi!
Tommorow I'll increase the boost to around 30 psi and lean the mixture a little because it's a little too rich for what I run Honda motors at. It should do around 550RWHP!

Chris Speed....
I envy your job. Have you guys done any turbo LT1's? I'm thinking about doing one sometime..... in an RX-7.
8 second street car is the goal...... with any driveline.
