Have you put any boost through it? I would put a run or two on it first then see if it is still an issue. Too many times I have seen seals not seated until the turbo has had some positive pressure put through it. I would do that before telling them you want a new turbo. If they don't tell you that themselves it would make me wonder a bit too.

Hey Sean, the oil coming from behind the compressor wheel is minimal. It's not even enough to make a track line in through the intercooler piping. At idle though, there's at least two drips per second from the turbine housing. I would go boost it but I don't have a wideband and my new setup is significantly changed. Plus the fact that there's A LOT of blue smoke... I don't want to cause any accidents

Do you want a direct link toward one or reference about restrictor sizing? I didn't feel like paying 25 bucks for a fitting and then waiting for it to come. I went to a plumbing store got a fitting with 1/4 mip on the bottom and 3 AN flare on the top. From there I welded it shut on the bottom and drilled a .065" hole in it.
