400WHP turbo for FC3S?
I'm just wondering what would be the best turbo for 400WHP, with a sweet spot between 12psi - 15psi(MAX) w/ street port?
Also, one that spools fairly quick before 4000 or so, and nice top end.
I looked at the SR Motorsports KKK turbo, TO4E.....but still dont really know what would be the best application for a set-up like this. Someone help me out please.
thanks.

T04E might not give you the 400+ number you are looking for. Maybe a 62-1, gt3540 (grrrr), PT63 or a T61 r 62 in. Im not sure about the gt3540 spooling but as fat as the 62-1 its right in the area of 3500 psi for 15 psi boost.

Why'd you put GT3540 then "(grrrr)" lol?
This is the kit everyone is buying right now right? How much does it go for and were could you buy it?
What about a TO4R?

I think that the gt3540 and the TO4R might be a little bigger than what you're looking for; I think the gt's sweet spot is somewhere around 18-20 lbs. of boost and the TO4R might even be a little bigger (don't hold me to it).
For your application the TO4E sounds like a souns choice. :

Assuming we're talking about a stock TII motor, I'll 2nd the 60-1. I'm not yet convinced BB CHRA's are worth the $ (consider the polished housing, and some stainless heatshield for beautification).
You'll need fuel (pump, injectors, rail, regulator), an IC, some plumbing (exhaust manifold, DP, wastegate, BOV, and I/C piping), standalone EFI, and a couple gauges. And, probably a few items I'm forgetting. Use Excel. List the parts. List the prices. Do math. Make budget.
Also, first step in any project --> make sure your car can turn and stop. Our cars perform poorly in fields and wooded areas.

AggieDave: yeah man i made a rough estimate, it was around $10,500CND....thats like what?...$10.50USD? LOL.
kkekeisen: well 3 more PSI isnt alot to get it to run at its efficent levels. So lets say I did get a GT35/40, got a street port, 18PSI, pump gas(94 is highest around here, should be enough?) How much power do you think this set-up could make,....anyone? just a rough estimate.

T61 should do it.
I haven't seen a 60-1/62-1 make 400 to the wheels at 15psi or less.
The same goes for a T04E-60 and the TS04.
RPM power band is more dictated by turbine wheel trim and turbine A/R.

Thanks for all the replies guys
This is just an idea though. For I don't have a FC3S turboII . But maybe by late summer I might find a good one and get it. Dunno have to see. Plus I'm only 16, almost 17 now.....and don't start saying **** like " oh your too young, blah blah" , don't wanna hear it, lol
Again thanks for all the replies if anyone else has anything good to contribute to this thread please do, thanks.

The port's running pretty large secondary and primary intake ports with alot of focus placed on charge velocities, boundary layers, and friction. The exhaust ports aren't opened up very much at all. Infact, from what I can remember, they were fairly dirty.

Thanks for the reply
I've seen your car on teamfc3s.org I post under RX-7 Junkie.....like i said on the forums, when and if I get a 89'+ FC3S T2 i'll be sending the engine to you.
Hows the spool on that turbo? Top end?
