Had to let go of that miata when I moved south. Really miss it. My buddy has an 07 for sale. Wish I could buy it. They are really fun to drive. Miata literally defined in Japanese means "horse and rider as one".. it's a true statement. Perfectly balanced vehicle.
michael you're spot on. Tupolov was the copy. But!! Still not the quality and reliability of ours.

At first I didn't know what you were referring to. Lol! That mustang just happened to be in my shop at the time, being worked on by my neighbor Kenny. Just a coincidence that it matched the Miata. Montego Blue!
Another photo of Russian aircraft.
Is that a Confederate Battle Flag I see down to the left of the canopy?
That Russian jet is a pretty thing, kind of looks like a Chateau Silver FB

I dunno about the braves, but my FC is about ready to fire up again. Took the engine out to change the front cover gasket and various other things, as well as install my hybrid turbo. I'm quite excited.

So very true all these guys were taken from Germany:
6 Russian People Who Changed the USA | English Russia
And all of these....

And who made the first nuclear bomb, I'm pretty sure it was an American scientist

Yup we took our share of the spoils of war too
Fun fact VW (the quite large auto maker) was for sale after the war for a few bucks... Nobody wanted any part of that silly German company. German cars?!?! who would buy them? What the heck is a Porsche? Where are the fender flares
As for cars.... I personally am FEED the hell up with body work. I had runs on my hood when I painted it last night now I had to start from square one. I am NEVER freeking painting this car again. I'll weld and spot paint rust, but other than that I'm done after this. I loathe the redundancy and repetition of painting.

Wow, thanks for posting Dmitri.
Looks like a cross between a Porsche and a Ferrari.
Is the engine in the front or in the back? What is it?
The LE had a visitor today:

I wish!
That's Dean's (the Deer Slayer) 1982 FB.
He just mounted a set of LE wheels with a fresh set of Falken Azenis RT615K+ tires.
I'm not usually a big fan of black but it sure looks good with those wheels.
The center caps are special custom units from China, about $9.00 shipped for the set.

Parts liquidation
Hey guys. I've been around for a LONG time, just been a lurker in here.
I've got a bunch of stuff to get rid of now that I've gotten rid of my FC. Parts are all for a turbo engine. Stock and aftermarket flywheels (no counterweight), Three or four clutches (including a 3 puck), S5 tails, TII wing, Cosmo alternator with associated pulleys and a bunch of other parts. I am trying to get them out of my garage asap. $300 for everything if you come get it all. I'm located in Lexington, SC.

As for the FB, that black one looks nice. I've actually been thinking about possibly finding another one in a better shape than mine. But that might be a challenge.
Truth is I have way too many projects on my hands right now. . And would rather just buy one with a nice body and suspension job already done to it.
Well, your FB, sweet as it is, is not that Lamborghini Huracan for sure.
But then again, that Lamborghini is not your FB.
Think about it.
Life is too short for messing around.

In case you guys missed it....
That's why I love my Ghia... If only I were single again I'd get something new every night
But the same dish every night is fine too
Don't tell me you've got a Karmann Ghia James. That car is the Ultimate of Cool.
Have you been holding out on us?
Dmitri those FDs are chick magnets for sure. Married guys need to be careful. Just ask Brett.
But an FD doesn't hold a candle stick to an FB at a stop light.
Lambo's are lame. They got that stinky rich smell.

I do, John. I'm curious what it is you're looking for, but I'm on the Hall Co side of Buford, myself. I've got engines that are complete, some torn apart, 4-port, 6-port.... We should catch up.

that is a very nice karhman ghia. My brother had one when I was a kid. He let me shift for him while we were cruising. I was 10 years old. .. 1966. I had two bugs, 67, 74 super beetle, AND 76 scirocco with a Holley two barrel. The 74 beetle had Hurst click shift, kadron headers, Bosch 009 ignition, lightened flywheel, .032 shaved heads, Holley two barrel, Porsche 914 style rims w Swedish steel belted performance tires. The Ghia is still ahead of its time for styling.
