So you are seeing a lot of wheel spin?

reason for gong with a small jet for the clutch flow control was the new disc grabs quicker then the 6 puk. I needed the clutch peddle to release slower.
I did shim the pressure plate with some sheet metal. Just measured a new and old 6 puk and shimmed the PP in the middle of the two measurements.

It bent the waste gate dump tube. Tried to make another pass and it may have damaged the gate. That's what caused all the sparks when the car came back down from it flight.

On a good note. it did go 1.27 60 ft on another pass. Had to get out of it though. Was not as bad as the video but bad enough I had to lift

That 8.9 pass is going to be tough!!

Awesome! New car will run 8s for sure.

Are you going to be mini-tubbing this one?
Also, stock style suspension still?

Good luck with the new project.

This trying to run a 8 sucks.

anyone have opinions on yokes? Speedmaster 32 spline CNC billet looks nice. Also will go with 1350 u-joint no grease fittings.

After having the shaft out of the car it is really hard to tell what broke first. The driveshaft shop said it was the yoke and suggested a Mark Williams or Moser.
I had a a yoke explode on me during a burn out once, it ripped my tunnel tunnel, broke my tailhousing on the jerico and bruised my leg (could of been worst) I will only use Mark Williams yokes for any big power builds with slicks

If you drop 500lbs your car should dip into the 7s once you can drop your 1/8 mile time

Speedmaster PCE216.1012: GM TURBO 400 Muncie Super T10 BILLET CNC Transmission Slip Yoke 1350 U Joint | JEGS

This is the yoke and non greasable 1350 u-joints. So far so good. 1.27 60ft with wheels up. Different pass with a best 1/8 has been 5.80 at 122 mph with 1.36 60ft.

7s is crazy... was looking for solid 8.5 8.6s Then maybe another trans upgrade to a clutchless 5 speed.

Currently running 4 turboII leading ignitors and 4 trailing coils for ignition. No boxes. Working great so far but lately noticed a bit of misfire at times. With the bridge port the afr was mid tens. Now with the street port the afr is high 11s. This thing is living on the edge and found out how close that edge was three weeks ago. Posted something in the aux fuel section.

You guys have any suggestions? for a ignition upgrade. M$W is money! MSD plus high output looks interesting also the AEM twin power look cool.

thx

Yes 12v with alternator.
Voltage under power falls to roughly 13.6 volts

are you thinking going 16v battery?

I was just wondering because the boost a spark runs 16v to 17v to your coil. That's all it basically does.
