Where is everyone at??? Phoenix AZ
Just relocated to the area, seen a few people out driving. Trying to make contact so we can get together and help one another out. Who's all in the area??

still trying to get ppl to meet. I sent a PM to a local member who lives about 15-20 mins away from me. Hopefully I can meet up with him somewhere, and then we can at least start a monthly meet... Don't know why AZ is sleeping on 7 meets compared to the rest of the country.

Back in the 7 life again
Well, my FD is now tucked in here in AZ but I decided to tear into it right away. Doing a full interior resto on it and then probably paint in the spring.
If you havent already, check out the AZ RX7 group on FB.

FlyinFalco, welcome. I've been leading a local group of rotary owners since 2000 here in Phoenix, but a few years back our club (RCCAZ) stopped meeting on a regular basis. However, a few of the original "core" members still meet a couple times a month. Shoot me a PM with your email contact info.
I've started an I-10 caravan thread in the Sevenstock area. We're organizing our caravan for this year's event on November 4th. All rotorheads are welcome to join us and attend Sevenstock. Many of our group drive on a limited basis in the Summertime (June-Aug) and take that time to work on upgrades or car projects. I wish I could give you a decent reference for local rotary-specific repair shops, but the few we had have since gone out of business. There are a few who still build engines, but most of us do our own "non-engine" related repairs, and lately several local owners have taken their cars to Lucky7 racing in Cali for engine work.
I may have Nelson come to Phoenix later this year for a tuning session if we can get enough interest. We'll see! As others have said, many post up on FB in the AZ RX-7 Owners group, as well as Arizona Classic Japanese Cars and Copper State Classics - Imports. Check those out as well.
Again, welcome!

That crystalline stuff looks pretty cool, might look into it for the rx8. Just searched and it looks like there's a few places in Scottsdale.

There's a guy named Cesar Hernandez who operates entirely by word of mouth and is one of the last few who does rotaries for other people. Try getting in touch with him. The AZ RX7 community (especially those on the AZ RX7 Owners Facebook group) are very familiar with him.

Hey there everyone! Former FC owner (As well as tuned NA Miata owner) but I'm looking to purchase an FD in the coming weeks... finally in a place that I can get my dream car. I currently live in North Gilbert near Val Vista Lakes. I'm glad to see there are a good group of enthusiasts here in the valley. Hoping I can join in on the fun sooner than later!
