Polyurethane Motor Mounts | IRPerformance
Here's a couple pics, maybe it'll help to see the way they're oriented. I noticed there's no heat shield on theirs (goodfellas) either though and it says MUST have heat shield on their motor mount page. Hmm..
Not sure about the torque numbers. I'm about to put my IRP street mounts in and kinda am wondering the same thing.

However, if you really want to be sure it can't come loose, double-nut or Loctite it.

Tighten the lock nut until the red bushing just starts to compress. They don't have to be super tight. I've had no issues with them loosening and there shouldn't be much heat in that area. You can adjust the stiffness of the mounts by making them slightly tighter or looser.
Yes you really need to run a heat shield or the heat from the downpipe can degrade both the stock or my poly mounts.
