The other things that hurts the sensor IMO is I run 3 oz premix per GL.

The red button is crazy fast. Only a 50 or 75 shot make a big difference. It adds so much more torque then if I increased the boost to equal the HP level. I've run 100 shot in the past and it was stupid fast. ( only 3rd gear )
And it makes things interesting.

40 psi is my goal.

Wish I was closer, I wouldn't mind lending you a hand wrenching/pit crewing

Only cause he was one of the ones that helped me set my boost controller...

He is using the haltech to control boost, and last time we talked, he was using the boost by gear feature.

Yep the Haltech boost control. Works great IMO. 6psi wastegate spring and a 4port solenoid. Reference signal from turbo cover. One thing planed to try is a air tank as the reference signal regulated to 60psi instead of the turbo cover. Think the boost response will be a bit faster. My speed sensor started acting up after a few years of use. Installing a "better" sensor and working the bugs out of it.

More on the wideband in the exhaust manifold.
My egts between the two rotors show a 60 to 120 f difference under WOT. Tried very hard to get the sensor at the same depth in the manifold and the same distance from the port. But always ended up with a WOT difference. I can not adjust my fuel trim between rotors cause of how the injectors are set up.
Looking at getting two AEM widebands for the manifold. The ones that read down to 8.5 afr.

that's interesting. are you on a factory lower intake mani? I used to have a decent egt difference between rotors under light load about 60degc but under load and wot would match up within 10degc pretty much straight away.i was not at the power levels you are.alao didnt have a fuel trim other wise would have evened it up

60ft !

So close to a 1.29. But the more power it has off the line the more the car moves around and it's wheels up. Got to figure out a solution to this issue

motor still runs!

Last wednesday while at full throttle in 4th gear at 34 psi the motor was shutting down. Nothing really showed in the datalog. So made another lite load pass at half throttle. AFR was off the charts lean.
Took it home and found the hose to the fuel regulator had pooped off. Reinstalled with new hose and went back to the track Friday. Made one pass at 30psi full throttle and everything is fine. ( clutch started slipping ) Motor starts and idle as it did before the mishap.
Two screen shots. Both are of second ger. The lean screenshot the afr goes up and down cause of throttle input.

Video of the lite throttle pass. You can hear the motor misfire and acting up. First car in the video

8.5 rotors, e85, water injection, water air intercooler, street port now, water temp around 170f. Race plugs 10.5. RA super seals

No comment on how the car looks.

Glad to hear that the engine is healthy after that problem. Are you using a quick connect fitting/hose on the fuel regulator pressure line?

Which water intercooler did you ended up using? What air temps are you seeing after a pass?

Video from two weeks ago. Second pass on on this street port

Air Temps are low 120f at 30 and low 130s at 35. Really think the water box is to Big. Air just rushes threw the box to much.

Hose for regulator was 1/ 8 hard line on a barb fitting. First issue in 5 years so I replaced the line and super glued in on this time. Lol
Ended up replacing all the vacuum hoses and a few intercooler hoses as well that were older then 3 years

Street port motor.
Air Temps started at 64f. End of 1st was 101. Second was 111. Third was 119 and 4th was 128. Boost was 34 in 4th and 31 in the 1st three gears. 1.34 60 ft
Second gear is pro shiftered and needs to be replaced. It slipped out of gear but went into 3rd good. Maybe a 9.6 pass.

Looking good Chuck!

Are you adding ice to the water box before each run? Got any pics of the intercooler?

330536733878 is the item number on ebay for the intercooler. It uses 10lbs of ice per run. That with starting the pump just a few minutes before the run and shutting it off before I get off the track. It's a pain but been running one for years now. Using a cheap ice cooler instead of a aluminum tank. It keeps the ice last longer.

That's a BIG *** intercooler I wish I had the room for that one.

Why don't you activate the water pump based on a specific setting (like coolant temp, or air temp), and let the haltech handle it? Have you noticed any CONS to running the pump at all times?

On my street car, the haltech activate the pump when IAT reaches 50F, I had it running at all times, but had the extra dpo output, so I used it for the pump.

50f that's cold. Maybe I'll run mine sooner and see how that goes. All my dpos are being used. Sounds like a good idea though. Did test how much water my system flows. 1 gallon per 8 seconds

Really think my intercooler is to Big first my current power. Hopefully it's good for 40psi and above.

Its almost my DD car (when I am not on the bike), water pump comes on at 50F, but AIT always reach 10-15F over the weather temps. I wish the PS1000 had more than one duty cycle map output (which is currently in use for the Electric radiator fan), so that I could use it on the intercooler water pump.

Why do you think that the intercooler is too big? Are you looking for higher IAT after a full pass?

9.2 at 153 on a street port is cool! 33 to 35 psi

Air Temps are the same. Talked with someone at the track and it looks like I'm not flowing enough water. Thx knonfs!

Street port's running really good!

How much boost are you planning on pushing through it eventually?
