Post your turbo setup pics!
I'm looking for a turbo manifold for my 13b swapped 1st gen, I'm looking for a t4 flange turbo manifold, I've seen the cx racing kit but I am not a huge fan of the tucked away turbo, I'd much rather have it able to be seen (just my preference) I'm just looking for some decent placement ideas of the turbo, please post some pics!
Also I'd love to see some turbo 1st gen engine bay pics just for fun!

Its home made. Or to be more accurate, its an SDR manifold that i modified so much i probably should have made it from scratch. Being rhd and an engine swap and wanting low mount and twin gates, had to do it myself. This is about the only pic i could find. That brace was for mock up purposes only.

I just ordered this off eBay, hoping it'll fit with little to no modifications! It was off a 13b swapped Gemini, only concern I have is the space for the turbo, I'm getting ready to purchase a Holshit HXFiddy (China holset hx50)

Worst case scenario I'll just wrap the radiator end tanks in gold heat tape, and exhaust wrap the turbo manifold, I've seen re/rew swapped rx8s with their turbos basically resting against the core support without any overheating complaints.
Not saying you're wrong by any means, I'm just saying I'll cross that road once I get there haha

The FD throttle body is vastly superior anyway. Bigger secondary throttle plates (50mm each vs 45mm on FC), better idle air control system, better TPS.

I wonder if our cast EFR kit would clear the RHD FB with an engine swap...

Quick tip for s4 and s5 engines running standalones if you don't want to run the old and expensive TPS. If you remove the OMP linkage off the throttle body you can use a 2003 Mazda B3000 full range TPS if you rig up a bracket, my bracket isn't pretty (pretty is later, function is now)
I got some aluminum, bent it accordingly and drilled a hole in it just the right size for the lip of the TPS to fit in the bracket.
I went to O Reillys and just started pulling every TPS sensor they had in stock until I found one that had something that could work and that turned the correct direction.

Ah, ok. Somehow i missed that. Looks good. I wish i could have done that. If you look at the angle needed to clear the brake booster and steering box, the back of the turbo and down pipe really need to be slanting back into the engine on the rhd. Wastegate position v idler arm and steering linkages are another factor with the low mount (ewg). Very tight under there.

The only reason I'm glad I'm LHD, I can't imagine having to work around the steering shaft, brake booster, brake lines, ect. Here in Merica' we have it easy haha
