It is all based on opinion. No matter what there will be people out there who go for the company that provides cheaper prices.

what do you think wal*mart does?

I first want to say that its good to know that there are people out there that are trying to look out for somebody.

now that I said that....is the person how wrote the artical serious. knock offs are a part of everything we are involved with in this world. the battery to my RAZOR phone is a knock off. why, because someone was able to take the design, mass produce it and sell it for less than the "name brand". These companies that create the design and market their products know how it works. They make their money back from the reserch and development of their products and move on to a new design. (explination of why sucsessful companies create new product annually.) I am a designer for a firm that creates architectural products. we develope or redesign 4-5 architectural elements a year; however, in the four years I've been working there, I have seen our designs sold by someone elses. You know why they can do this, its because they change some part of it so it passes through the copy right laws. and who can blame then, they can sell a product that is liked, without the overhead of the development process. got to love a capitalist society.

As for Shine, well I have purchesed from them and the products have been good quality with really good service. That artical only states the practices of the business world, and directs focus on a company that seems to be liked on this forum, atleast from what I have read on threads.

Like I said at the begining, Its good to know that there are people out there that are trying to look out for others, but understand that without knock off products, a lot of things in life would be alot more expensive.

P.S. When I'm ready to do body work, I'm buying the burnout kit from shine.

What the hell does that guy even care, if he wants to spend more than twice the price for fiber glass parts go right ahead, the Japanese fiber glass parts are so ******* over priced its unbelievable.
As far as fit and finish is concerned I've bought authentic JDM fiber glass parts before and they were not a "perfect fit".
The guys at Shine are stand up guys , and I too have purchased their parts and would do it again.
We are supposed to be adults who can make the choice to buy "knockoff" or not, I don't need someone to lookout for me and who I do business with, and I certainly wouldn't be embarrassed to buy from ShineAuto Project.
