very unimpressed and will never attempt another order from them again. first off, they're extremely difficult to get a hold of. during the two weeks of trying to place an order, at least 2 of every 3 calls went unanswered. the unanswered calls went to a voice mail asking to leave call-back info. not a single call was returned. my girlfriend emailed them a few times, and not a single email was replied to.
my girlfriend was trying to buy me some stuff for my battery relocation for my birthday, and 2 weeks later, the order still hasn't gone through (they said they couldn't process the card, although she has used it other places during this time with absolutely no issues), so the order was canceled. she tried re-ordering the parts using my card, but they only ship every few days (making the order ship out in the evening, two days later), which didn't work due to time constraints from the order taking so long to begin with. plus, even though the order was canceled a week-and-a-half ago, the $130ish charge is still pending on her card.
so hi fi sound connection gets a huge thumbs-down

telum, it sounds like everything a "legit" company could do wrong without taking your money and running, they did. Thanks for the heads up.

if I had to guess, I would say that it was moved because there was no transaction at all. The other section is to report bad transactions, not issues where nothing changed hands. In this case, you did not lose any money or anything. Now, I agree, thats a really horrible way to do business, but it is just a different situation, thats all.
Also, I would recommend having your girlfriend contact her credit card company and verify that they are the ones who have this amount pending. When you charge something, a lot of times the cc company puts that amount on hold--it is not actually removed from your account yet, but it is set aside so that it is unavailable for any other purchases. The pending amount should be reversed automatically and put back into the available balance within a few days, but just to be safe I would have her inform them that this sale was cancelled.
