You think my car is properly set up Ken? HAHA. I'm actually worried how it will look since I won't have my spacers yet. My front wheels are 18X10+38 with 285/35 tires, and once I get the fenders I'll put them on and take pics, and also figure out how big of a spacer to get. Then I'll take pics again with the spacers.

Ken, I've been meaning to ask you, do these fenders have vents that separate like the stock fenders, or are they built into the fender?

 

vents aren't built in... we offer cf and kevlar replacements...

18x10 + 38 with 285/35 I think you're just right there... according to my calculations .. .perhaps 5mm spacer at most, but i think it will be flush with the 285 on a 10 inch wide wheel

 

I currently have 18x9 + 25 ( with 15mm spacer) = 18x9 +10 on my feed front fenders (25mm wide) and it is "almost" flush with 275/35/18 tires. I'm talking between 1-4 mm to be absolutely flush.

your 18x10 + 38 is the same as 18x9 + 25. The difference between 10 and 9 is one inch and half of one inch is roughly 13mm. Offset are measured front the center half of the barrel so the difference in 1 inch equates to a difference in half an inch when translating to "offsets." 38-13=25.

your wheels basically protrude outward the same as mine except you have a 285 tire , which is suppose to be 5mm wider (total of 10mm for front and rear of rim) and you are working with a 20mm fender as opposed to a 25mm. You have a total of 10mm less ( 5mm from tire + 5mm less length of fender) to worry about. I have a 15mm spacer.... which is almost flush... That is why I mentioned a 5mm spacer should be adequate

 

Damn, that sucks. I was hoping to pull the fronts out a bit more than that. Oh well, we'll see how it sits. On my stock fenders now (which I rolled and TRIED to flare with all my might), my tires are damn near touching the fender. I have about 5mm of clearance probably, it sits REALLY close...I can't even get a fingertip all the way in there. I figured since I didn't really get much pull on the front fender that I'd need more of a spacer for these. I'll see for sure once they get here I guess.

So on the fender vents, are the mounting holes in the same location as stock fenders? And will stock vents work in these fenders? I assume so since they are based on stock fenders.

 

I am liking what I am hearing...I also run 285 on 10 inch rims up front. Very much looking forward to the pictures.

This will be my next "shine" purchase.

 

fender vents have same mounting points as oem. No changes . should not be a problem to re use oem vents.
