At the moment we got the driver's side to fit just the way we want, however, the passenger side is a bit stubborn. We know this is a classic piece so we're really for 98%+ fitment on these.

We're also on a time schedule to finish up on a few other projects on other cars.

Sounds good, Ken. Looking forward to ordering set.

Yup same here. Thanks for taking the time to get the fitment right.

The sides should fit just a tad bit under the door line (not right on the door line), so it can line up better with the front piece. Picture above is of authentic ones.

Thanks for the pictures, Ken. What was the reason behind making them 2 piece, just to keep the original style, or does it make it easier to produce?

Can't wait to see a finished set and send you money :) I've got a couple other things I want to order as well.

If it were one piece you'd have to remove the whole skirt to remove the fender. The two piece design should allow you to remove the fender much easier. :icon_tup:

Great update!

Thanks for that Captain Obvious, haha, but I don't make a habit of removing my front fenders that often. Seeing how every other side skirt on the market is a single piece design, I thought that maybe it would be easier to produce the OEM replica as a single piece as well.

shineautoproject 03-07-12 04:28 PM

It probably is easier to produce the sides in one piece, but I chose to keep the classic design :)
