man i love this hood, fitment and quality!!!
The only downside i have with this hood is that it exposed too much to rain. I have not driven my car in the rain yet because of this problem. I have t04s turbo with a hks manifold and that positions the turbo directly underneath the vent of the hood. Also since i am not running an intake, just a screen over the turbo. The rain will fall directly onto the turbo and most likely inside the inlet. Not only does it expose the turbo, most goes onto the belts and onto my blow off valve. Some may wonder that bov's just blow out, well i have the synapse one. The synapse bov sucks air in when its at idle.
Besides this problem, I was soo happy when i slapped this hood on. I had designed my v mount prior to having the hood so it was very difficult to see if it was going to fit right with my intercooler up top. When I put the hood on, it measured up exactly with the vent of the hood and i couldn't be happier. My v mount setup looked like it built for the hood, but actually it was just coincidence.
Shine!

I agree...i wish there were rain guards or something...
I have water getting on some of the electric on the right engine bay and corrosion on the front pulleys.

Once rain hits something in the engine bay it goes in all sorts of directions...Which means you have to worry about corrosion where the body harness comes out on the left sides because it holds water. The bolts from the pulleys getting corroded. I recommend getting a tube of gel that protects connections from the water. If you have a e-fan the water comes down and blows water all over the place...
So please stop saying it doesn't effect everything.

After lurking a bit, I understand you have this hood in CF plain weave for $750. Do you do will-call? I'd be able to get the hood in a couple weeks if I can shave off the shipping.
