Who is in Jax FL and willing to help out a fellow FC owner?

My car is coming down here in about a week, and I would like some help just looking her over to get her the TLC that she needs. I had the car for about 5-6 years, I just would like to have some extra more experienced eyes to give it a once over.

I am at NAS jax./orange park. I have a coolant leak some where, which I think I found. Heat core hose. I am only able to look at the car for a week or two every 6 month that I go home. So there maybe stuff I missed. My rear end is loud. But I am told that is because of my MRR near solid mounts, that I am thinking about swapping out for Mazdaspeed ones. Also for the most part I have been the only guy with a running RX7. my friend bought a GTUs then parted it out.

The car should be here today. but tonight I am going to work in spain till the 7th.

and parting out the GTUs made me sad too till I got parts from it. I have the front hubs and 4 piston calipers however they are in Wisconsin.

Can't really tell where that leak is. How fast it will drain depends upon how long you run it, and how hard you run it.

Coolant leaks are easy to fix (unless its a coolant seal or those damn LIM o-rings)

thats at the heater core for the cabin heat. that spot is notorious for leaking. if you want, you can fallow the line to the block, and cap it off. then find the line on the other side, and cap it off as well.

this will prevent you from using the heater core, but since you will be in florida i doubt you will need it.

also, its a pretty serious leak. it will maybe last a day of driving.

the hose is like $35 at o'reilly or 40 and some change thru mazdatrix. because of the windshield fogging up I would like my heater core to work.

Yeah, what he said. Also, is the hose a pre formed shape (like a rad hose), or is it just a regular straight flexible one? Cause if so, advanced auto sells hose by the foot, and have giant rolls of it in the back. Just find out what size it is and go get a couple feet. Its only a couple bucks.

it is molded. Right now i can't drive the car any where because my folks sent an expired reg with the car. My tags are good till 2012 but i can't drive it onto base till I get that piece of paper. I had a guard do me a favor so I could get it on and park it.

Word. When my heater hose decided to turn bitch I just got some regular hose of the proper diameter and used a series of gentle bends to make it fit. 2 years strong.

I was able to drive my 7 for a little bit today. it felt good to drive it once again with out the coolant leak. however the front end feels a little soppy. Any ideas? also I was wondering if any of you guys want to do something soon. I am itching to take her out.
