Who do I go to for rebuilds in south florida

Well I've tried three time to get ahold of Charlie at 2rotor.net aka TurboClinic ... and I have not gotten any calls back, so I am now looking to go elsewhere.

I am considering doing one of two venues
1. Full rebuild of S5 JSPEC T2 engine
2. 20B engine

I need to know who the best of the best is, but is atleast somewhat reasonable. I don't want to know people that have some "rebuild" shop in the back alley. I want reputable shops, that back up there work and are pretty well known in the rotary community.

I don't know what extent of a rebuild the engine will need so that should be taken into consideration as well (may need an entire new motor .. who knows).

Thanks guys,
Jordan

Pettit Racing, the best of the best for a reason.

They built my 12A for $1600, street ported, all new mazda seals, etc. Runs extremely well, and is pretty powerful for having a stock carb on it still.

Some say that they're expensive, but you get what you pay for. I was there the whole time they were building my engine (learned alot while I was there too), and let me tell you, they are THOROUGH. Extremely high quality of work with a high attention to detail. If you want an engine that is going to make lots of power and last forever, they are your best bet.

Awesome. There is a guy here in Jax selling his 87 with a bad motor. If we have enough after new years, I was thinking on taking the engine and wheels and such out of the vert and putting it in that. After seeing your vert, I kinda don't want my 17 year old son driving one until he has more experience. I guess I'll see what happens.
Later,
Bill

God damn that thing is clean looking, i like the colour. When you call Pettit again, ask to speak with Cam (shop owner). He's a really nice and understanding guy who will set up a good deal for you when it comes to engine building.

if i was you i would try charlie again @ 786-242-0377 or @ 786-897-8324. if he asks just tell him the guy with a 12a pickup sent you to him. he does good work. when i lived in sfl he did alot of the work on my truck. it might be s little pricey but it is worth it. i still keep in touch with him. he is the only person i would trust my eng. in sfl

try perry rickets with rotary performance...he used to be in margate and had his own shop next to ruff racing...i'm pretty sure he does all their rotary work now.

he has been doing them for 25+ years...actually 30+...so he's awesome. and very reasonable. talk to him and you'll know...

his # is 954-972-7000
