TALLADEGA road course, APRIL 2, only $125/person...beginners welcome!
Hey everyone! I work with David Jerome (forum member here), and we wanted to invite everyone to come run with us at 'Little Talladega'!
We have Talladega Grand Prix Raceway (www.TGPrace.com) rented again for the day, and wanted to invite everyone out to join us on Sunday, April 2 for only $125 per person! There will also be instructors on hand to ride with and help people who have never been on a road course before...NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO RUN!
This is part of the www.300zxNationals.com event that we host yearly, and there are still a good bit of spots left so ANY car model is welcome to join. Tell your friends to join if they want to run the course, and remember that admission to watch is FREE!
For more information, complete rules/regulations packet, and to register/pay for a spot for the event, please go here:

If you need to contact me about anything, call 770-777-4774 or email blackwell@SpeedForSale.com or webmaster@300zxClub.com... See you there!

I would love to see some rx7 guys come out and whoop up on some 300zxs and other high performance sport cars. Should be lots of fun. At $125 this is a great time for beginners to get out there and see if this is something they would like to do again in the future. Hope to see some of the rx7club guys there.

I may come out and watch some, but I'm getting to run April 3rd for free at TGPR, otherwise I would love to come.
BTW for those going make sure to bring something to rotate tires because the front drivers is going to get wore down very quickly, this track likes tires, especially that one.

How do you guys get to Talladega?? If you guys go thru Bham, we could caravan over there.

I have family in Anniston, so we'll be there Friday night, doing the "family thing". His house is about 15 minutes from the track!
After a few long conversations with Jeremy, it looks like the wife and I will be helping instruct this day. She's had time on this track before I ever did. We both co-instruct for a private "Advanced Driving Techniques" school, and have a lot of time at 'Dega with various clubs, mostly Ferrari, Porsche guys.
We're bringing both my LS1 FC, and the wife's new FD (rotary and staying that way). Doubt we'll track either of them though. I hope to be to busy helping the "new-comers" get "the line" down! Ok well, I'd like to get some laps in the FD. That thing freakin' handles soooo nice for stock. My FC is violent, but darn well gets the job done.
See you all next Sunday!

I would love to, only problem is if I take the weekend of Deal's Gap, I will probably not be able to take another Saturday off again for another month. Work work work, I love work : )

That is great, I am glad we are having such a good turn out for the Gap.
