Tuning order based on stated preferences, distance traveled and order deposits received.
Damian 9:00am Alex 11:00am Mike 1:00pm Felipe 3:00pm Andrew 5:00pm G. Hernandez 7:00pm Jerry 9:00pm Steve asks that people arrive at least one hour prior to their scheduled times. Anyone not on the list feel free to show up to fill in for no-shows. Sundays schedule will obviously heavily depend on what happens Saturday and problems that might arise. There is a good chance one of these spots (mine unfortunately) will be available to late comers. Dyno payment options to follow shortly. Input welcome. |

Ok, Robert prefers a cash payment for the dyno use. We have under 10 people so it will be $65 an hour.
|
I'm afraid there are too many variables for this to work out for me.
In a perfect world, it would still work but we all know how that goes. Steve, next time you are around the SE, I'm bringing the car to you. Thanks for your time. |
My reserved spot for Sat tuning session is available; my car will not make it. Call me at 904-742-2908 if interested.
|
Post pics and numbers when the day is done!
|
I would like to move up to Mike's spot. This would leave my 3:00 PM open.
|
If JerryD680 doesnt want Pitos old spot
I will take 3pm |
You can have it. I ran into some scheduling issues and the later time suits me better now.
|
Soooooooo, how did it go?
|
it went pretty good
i just got home after a 3 hour drive |
I think Pito13B and myself did pretty well
I got 385 hp at 15 psi on a dynojet. The temp inside the place was 103 degrees and my intake temps were 60+. Im still having trouble holding fuel pressure above 6800 rpm. I'm sure i could have done better. Gio (Sinister7) came up in the sweetest trailer i ever saw. Glad i could help out with the 3bar map sensor Felipe (Pito13B) Good meeting you. we got to hang out together soon. It was a good event and steve always puts on a good show. Thanks to Steve who tuned my car Thanks to Dave the owner of 2fastAutosports, he was an extremely gracious guy I'll let Pito13b post his results |
I just got tuned today, and it was a hot one. I hit 301hp. I was hoping for closer to 330, but I'm happy with what I have. Steve did an amazing job of delivering power while keeping good street drive ability. I'm upset I didn't get to see everyone run yesterday.
|
I got 357 at 12-13 lbs. I was also in the 60 degree intake temp range. The heat was definitely tough on the cars and us! It was great to meet everyone yesterday and I had a great time hanging with you guys. Jerry, it was good to meet you today, wish you could have made it out last night, we were all still there waiting for you! Hope everyone that ran into issues gets them sorted out soon!
A big thanks to Steve for all his help and hard work. We could barely handle 10 minutes in that bay and Steve stays in there all day. You need a mask for your next tuning session! All of us common folk would walk out of that bay tearing up. Steve and the staff at 2 fast were not affected lol! I am very happy with how the car feels now, very responsive! A big thanks also to Robert and the staff at 2fast. They were very professional and accomodating with all of us. Definitely recommend them for anyone looking for a shop in Orlando. Here are a few pics I have. I will work on the videos this week. http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/c...o/P1050085.jpg http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/c...o/P1050104.jpg http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/c...o/P1050106.jpg http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/c...o/P1050107.jpg http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/c...o/P1050109.jpg http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/c...o/P1050113.jpg http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/c...o/P1050117.jpg http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/c...o/P1050079.jpg http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/c...o/P1050090.jpg http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/c...o/P1050092.jpg http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/c...o/P1050095.jpg |

Who had the yellow three rotor and what did it do?
|
that was the shop car's
notice the big screen ATM inside? |
I did not notice it until you pointed it out. Mounted toward the center rather than directly in front of the driver. Pretty cool.
Somebody at 2Fast must tune RX7s. |
thanks to all who came out. It was nice meeting new people and seeing some old faces. I'm still stuck in Orlando due to the plane had mechanical issues. Looks like I will be here tonight and flying out tomorrow morning. I told them I would hook my laptop and diagnose their problem! J/K. If you guys need anything from me, feel free to PM or call me.
|
Thanks Steve
Did you have a good time at Epcot? |
I didn't goto Epcot, It was a little late by the time I left the shop today.

Steve, you should have called. You were more than welcome to come crash at the place again. Did the microtech guy end up showing on Sunday?
Here are a few of my pulls. I have videos of Alex, Andrew and Gio. I didn't wanna post any up unless it was cool with you all. Damian, sorry I did not get video of yours, I was running around thinking of things I had to do to my car! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fXYaa1aKaus |
Id like to give a big thanks to Steve for doing a great job tuning my car and for all the help in trying to diagnose the problem I was having with it. I will be troubleshooting the problem and hopefully find and sort everything out for the next time you come to Miami. Fingers crossed hoping its a stupid issue and not that my turbo is to small for my application.
Thanks to moosejaw for lending me his map sensor so I could get the car tuned and again sorry I kept you there so late. I really appreciate the help man. It was great meeting and talking to all my fellow enthusiasts who share the same passion I have for these cars, I had an awesome time, aside from the stress of thinking the motor was going to blow up every pull. I’m just glad everyone left in good shape and no one lost their motors. Once again a big thanks to everyone for being so helpful. On a side note we got to get together one of these weekends to shoot the sh!t, maybe a little caravan out to the track to see what these things can do. I would also like to see whatever pics and vids you guys may have taken. |
Giovanni, here is the video I have of yours. I was not able to get the open downpipe run.

BTW the neigbours complimented on the fact that the car doesnt smell like fuel any more, they can walk up to now with a lit cigarette.
|
Ah yes, you found it. I need a new HD camera!
|
Great job guys! I got tuned by Gaby a few months ago @ robert's place and it was a great time. I had a few issues and they helped me get it all together! Big props to To fast auto. I wish I didnt work saturday or I would have been there to check it out. I met Steve @ petitt a few years back and we had a great time that day. Good times 4 sure. G
|
G, would have been cool if you made it out. It was a good time out there, we had alot laughs.
Did anyone else snap pictures?? |
Andrew, wish I had known you were there. I was at Kilo Racing that day and would have swung by on my way home.
|
Hey David
I was there from 3 pm to midnight I had no idea you were in town Did you see this car at Kilo, it was having fuel pressure issues http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/c...o/P1050085.jpg |

I went to the dyno also to see what the car would do at 18 PSI. We made about 600 WHP at 6,700 RPMs and then shut it down. The shop's RPM and torque readings were not working so I couldn't get a clean dyno sheet. The heat and humidity was killing the power also and then the shop's fan stopped working on high so that was it for me. On the good news front, the WHP curve was a straight line that went up at a 45 degree angle and didn't stop so we're going to be in the 650-700 WHP range easily. |
Hey David,
I should be back in Orlando sometime during the summer. I made new freinds up there. As soon as i get my AC, bumper, manual steering rack, and twin oil coolers installed. We could probably meet up with the Orlando Crew. Maybe a Cars and Coffee type thing thing? I probably wont be ready till July thought. Lots of stuff to do. (BTW check out my fontana dam video on the DGRR thread) |
