You still need to go to the site in previous e-mails and sign up for the tune and print put the waiver which should have been mailed with your check. Any questions just pm me.

Also, let me know if you will want a dyno tune or street tune.

So just to summarize, to sign up you need to:

1. Send a $350 check to:
Steve Kan, c/o Gotham Racing
5621 Main St.
Watauga, TX 76148

2. Sign and send the waiver form along with your check. Here is the link to the form:
http://www.rotaryx.com/stevekan/Wavi...0Liability.doc

3. Bid on the Auction at the following link:
http://www.rotaryx.com/index.php?a=1002&b=379

4. Let me (Brick) know if you want a street tune or a dyno tune. Just PM me.

Thanks,

J

Hey Darkphantom, finially getten the car tuned aye... Congrats call me up I want to know whats up with your car. Also guys my only advice I have for all of you is to make sure your cars are ready for the tune. When our group at pettit got tuned we had all these little problems that set up back. Change spark plugs, fuel filters if haven't been changed, and look over the car for any potential problems. Just my .02 cents from our tune. Good luck. I know I love my tune.

darkphantom...are you asking what's the difference between a street tune and dyno tune? There is some info available at www.GothamRacing.com (Steve's website). Steve prefer's street tuning, but depending on the weather and traffic...a street tune may not be viable. Also, given the rate of speed you will be doing by the end of each run, you have to worry about the cops, any tickets you might get, or accidents (of course).

If you tune on a dyno you will have to pay for the dyno time (meaning it is more expensive), but you can be sure you will get a reasonable tune regardless of the weather. Assuming the weather and traffic work out, Steve can probably validate a dyno tune on the street afterwards.

Guys, I apoligize for not staying with this thread! I've been relaly busy trying to get things prepped for the Deals Gap weekend.

I'm not going to be able to make it to the tuning session because my 20B decided to lose its oil control rings as I was pulling out of town for the event. I ended up dumping pretty much all my oil through the engine in a HUGE cloud of smoke.

As of now, I'm waiting to find out from the builder what's going to happen next. Sorry guys!

If Steve cant come to florida anytime soon/arent enough interested people to get him to florida, then I will be attending this for sure, I already printed out the waiver and I can make it pretty much anytime, so all I'm waiting for is to see about him coming to florida.
I'd rather have a street tune but I'll play that by ear when I get there in case weather is bad etc etc(btw didnt marietta just get hit by a tornado or something like that!?), I dont mind the dyno tune, its better than the NO tune I have now

Rotor Head Weekend

We now have 6 cars for the Atlanta tune. I think this would be a great time for all rotor heads to come out and make a meet out of this tuning session. How many people would like to have a meet, even if they don't get the tune or the dyno???????

If you are interested just post or pm me.

If you want to do it, I would recommend you send your money to Steve now. You may also want to give him a call to be sure it is okay...but I don't think he is going to turn you down if he has your money in hand. Just send it asap, as he needs a head-count to determine the number of days he will need to get to all the cars and he will probably be making his plans soon. See www.gothamracing.com for Steve's contact info.
